cell is a structural and functional unit of life which do basic things like respiration, digestion, reproduction etc.
mitochondria, plastid, ribosome, rough and smooth endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, lysosome, vacuoles are cell organelles.
cell wall ( in plant, Monera, fungi) and nucleus are required for developing of cell.
it is called functional and structural unit of life because it perform all the basic functions of life.
