Development refers to the process as a result of which along with increase in the real per capita income, there is a reduction in inequality, poverty, illiteracy and diseases. In other words, there is improvement in the economic welfare of the people and their standard of living rises.
Sustainability is linked with development as they work for the welfare of the people and society in terms of conserving natural and human resources.
As today, a fair distribution of resources has become absolutely essential for a sustained quality of life and global peace and can be achieved through proper planning which is related to sustainable development.
