Answer:

When one male gamete fuses with egg cell and forms zygote and 2nd male gamete fuses with nucellus and forms endosperms it is called double fertilisation. After pollination, when pollen grain reaches to the stigma it develops and give rise to pollen tube and through this pollen tube, the male gamete move downward to the ovule in ovary. One of the male gamete fuses with the eggcell and forms zygote. This zygote develops into seed. The other male gamete fuses with nucellus and forms endosperm with covers the zygote and provides all the nutrition.
