electrostatic potential is define as the work done to move a particle or charge from infinity to a point at a distance.
at equitorial point electrostatic potential is zero but at axial point potential is =
kp/(r^2-a^2)^3/2
here , K=constant of permittivity
p=dipole moment
r=distance of the point at which charge is from the dipole.
a=distance between the dipole having two charges
