* It is denoted by "H".

* Term enthalpy is just like internal energy. This term was introduced because mostly all chemical reactions are done at constant pressure for that we use the term internal energy.

* We cannot find the absolute value of enthalpy we can only find the change in enthalpy or ∆H.

* Mathematically it is written as H = E + PV

where, H is the enthalpy, E is the internal energy finally PV is pressure and volume.
