Lots of freshwater fishes that are very common named Rohu, Catla and common carp. Some marine fishes which are eaten such as Sardines, Hilsa, Mackerel, and Pomfrets. Fishery plays an important role in the Indian economy as it provides employment and money to millions of fishermen and farmers.
