Define the term ‘induced current’.

whenever the number of magnetic lines of force or magnetic flux passing through the circuit changes, an emf is produced. If the circuit is closed, a curren flows through it. The  current produced is called the induced current.

THE CURRENT PRODUCED IN A COIL DUE TO RELATIVE MOTION BETWEEN THE COIL AND THE MAGNET IS CALLED INDUCED CURRENT.
DUE TO RELATIVE MOTION BETWEEN THE COIL AND THE MAGNETIC FLUX LINKED WITH COIL CHANGES. HENCE THE INDUCED CURRENT IS DEVELOPED.
