Intermolecular Force

✴The force of attraction which attracts molecules in a substance is called intermolecular force.

✴It is also called Cohesion.

✴It is the maximum in solids, less in liquids and minimum in gases.

✴The space between two molecules is called intermolecular space.

✴Intermolecular space and Intermolecular force determines the state of that matter.

✴The force of attraction which attracts two atoms in a molecule is called chemical bond.

Note - Chemical Bond is much stronger than Intermolecular force
