Hey mate..
=========

Magnetic field:--

First of all , we need to know what is a magnet ?

A magnet is anything that carries a static magnetic field around with it. There are lots of kinds of magnets. The ones you find most commonly are permanent magnets ..

We know,

Like poles of the magnet repel each other while the unlike poles of it attract each other.

Lets take an experiment to know what a magnetic field actually is :-

1) Take some iron filings in your hand ( very small pieces of iron )

2) Spread those iron filings on a table .

3) Place a bar magnet amidst those iron filings.

Great !

Now we can see from the experiment conducted above :-

Those small filings of iron arrange themselves in a beautiful pattern .

Here, a question arises :-

Why do the iron filings arrange in such a pattern ? What does this pattern demonstrates ?

Actually, The bar magnet exerts its influence in the region surrounding it. Therefore, the iron filings experiences a force . The force thus exerted makes iron filings to arrange in a pattern.

Hence, The region surrounding a magnet in which the force of the magnet can be detected , is said to have a magnetic field.

Also, The lines along which the iron filings align themselves represents magnetic field lines.

Hope it is clear to you !! ^_^

Answer:

The region around the magnetic where its poles exhibit a force of attraction or repulsion is called a magnetic field. The magnetic field also induces when the electric charges are moving in space or an electrical conductor.
