1. Malnourished means “poorly nourished”. That happens when your diet does not contain the right amount of nutrients. It can refer to: undernutrition – not getting enough nutrients. overnutrition – getting more nutrients than needed.
2. The 1950 national constitution of India legally abolished the practice of untouchability and provided measures for positive discrimination in both educational institutions and public services for Dalits and other social groups who lie within the caste system.
3. India has several industrial regions like Mumbai- Pune cluster, Bangalore-Tamil Nadu region, Hugli region, Ahmedabad-Baroda region, Chottanagpur industrial belt, Vishakhapatnam-Guntur belt, Gurgaon-Delhi-Meerut region and the Kollam Thiruvanathapuram industrial cluster.
4. The judge is one of the key player in the criminal justice system. The judge decides whether the accused person is guilty or innocent on the basis of the evidence presented and in accordance with the law.
5. Women were not considered for jobs outside the home. Women were expected to stay home, clean the house, take care of the children and keep her husband happy and. Therefore, it seemed a waste of money and a waste of girls’ time to go to school as they would not need the education for being a homemaker and stay-at-home mother.
