Mesopotamia

Mesopotamia is a land between two rivers called Tigris and Euphrates.

Mesopotamia was rich in food resources (agriculture) but lack in mineral resources.

Most of parts of southern Mesopotamia was lack in

  • stones for jewels, seals and tools,
  • the wood of Iraqi date-palm(good quality of wood) was not good enough for carts, cart wheels, or boats
  • and there was no metal present for tools, vessels or ornaments.
