   Reservation in general terms refers to a system or arrangement in which some resources or something is kept aside for use by some people only. In India, reservation in education is common.

   The government has made a reservation in education and employment for the section of society that have been discriminated over the years.

   In order to bring them to the mainstream society, this policy has been put to force.
