&lt;b&gt;When hydrogen atom joins, two different structural formulae are obtained. The molecular formulae of both these structural formulae is same which is {C}↓{4} {H}↓{10} .These are two different compounds as their structural formulae are different.<br />The phenomenon in which compounds having same molecular formulae but different structual formulae is called ' structural isomerism'.
