Point to be noted:- Sublimation is the change from solid state to gaseous state but not from gaseous to solid state. The change of state of matter from gaseous to solid state without passing through the liquid state on cooling is called Deposition.

Substances that sublimes:- Dry Ice, Camphor, Napthalene, Ammonium Chloride, etc.
