SATELLITE :

A satellite is a natural or an artificial body which is placed around the orbit of a planet

  • Satellites may be natural also . For eg : moon is a natural satellite
  • The artificial satellite is placed in the orbit with the help of a rocket .

⇒ The gravitational force of the bigger body and the force of the body keeps the rotating body in the orbit of the bigger body.
