a) Polarizability is the ability to form instantaneous dipoles. It is a property of matter. Polarizabilities determine the dynamical response of a bound system to external fields, and provide insight into a molecule's internal structure.

b) Hydrogen bonds is a weak bond between two molecules resulting from an electrostatic attraction between a proton in one molecule and an electronegative atom in the other.

c) Aqueous tension is defined as the partial pressure of the water vapour present in the moist gas. When the gas is colleced over the water, it becomes moist due to presence of small quantity of water vapour caused by evaporation.

d) Dipole moment is the mathematical product of the separation of the ends of a dipole and the magnitude of the charges.
