Examples:

Hemisphere refers to the equal halves created when the prime meridian divides the Earth into two equal halves .

This division can be done in 2 ways , making 4 hemispheres possible .

They are the Northern Hemisphere, the Southern Hemisphere, the Western Hemisphere and the Eastern Hemisphere .

The Oriental World refers to the eastern hemisphere .

That is the east and south asia part.

The Orient originates from being a term which was traditionally used to name anything from the east .

Tropic of Cancer :

The tropic of cancer refers to the parallel of latitude that divided the earth at 23°26′11.7″ (or 23.43658°) north of the Equator.

This corresponds to the northernmost declination of the Sun's ecliptic orbit on to the celestial equator.

The Tropic of Cancer passes through eight states in India - Gujarat , Rajasthan , Madhya Pradesh , Chhattisgarh , Jharkhand West Bengal , Tripura and Mizoram .

The word peninsula generally refers to an area of land which is surrounded by water on three sides .
