When a land is surrounded by water in all foue sides ten it is termed as island where as when a land is surrounded by water in three sides then it is termed as peninsula fir exampla Indua is a peninsular platue coz it is surrounder by water in three sides bamely Indian ocean , Arabian sea and Bay of Bangal
