wavelength is the distance between two consecutive crest and trough

frequency is number of oscillations or vibrations in per unit time

the distance between 2 consecutive compression or rarefraction is called wave length..

u = 1 \div t
speed \: of \: a \: wave = lamda \div t \\  speed \: of \: a \: wave = lamda \times u \times 1 \div t = u
therfore,speed of a wave is proportional to frequency from speed of a wave and frequency we can understand that
v = u \times lamda
hence,speed of sound wave=frequency×wave length
