Basically, forces are of two types:
- Contact forces
- Non-contact forces
Contact forces
Those forces which represent the result of physical contact between two objects, where one of the objects exerts force on the other.
5 examples of contact forces
- Stretching of the spring of a balance
- the pushing of a pram
- kicking of a football
- Pushing the door
- Hitting the ball etc are some examples of contact forces.
Types of contact forces
some types of contact forces are given in the list below:
- Applied force
- Normal force
- Frictional force
- Tension force
- Air resistance force
- Spring force
Noncontact forces
Those forces which do not involve physical contact between the two objects but act through the space between the two.
Non-contact forces examples
- An apple falling down from a tree is one of the best examples of non-contact force.
- Iron pins attracted in the presence of a magnet bar without any physical contact.
- Falling of raindrops on earth is also an example of non-contact force.
types of non contact forces
- Gravitational force
- Electromagnetic force
- Weak nuclear force
- Strong nuclear force

there are two types of forces
* contact forces
* non contact forces
contact forces
a force exist object when it is contact
*muscular forces
*friction forces
muscular forces
the force exist by the muscular of the body is called muscular force
friction forces
the force exist by an object opposite to the motion is called friction force.
non contact forces
a force exist without being in contact
*magnetic force
*electrostatic force
magnetic forces
a force exist by a magnet is called magnetic force
electrostatic forces
the force exist by an electrical object is called electrostatic force
