=> There are three types of solution

1. Isotonic solution - If solution in which a cell is placed has equal of water concentration to that of cell sap, Don this solution is called isotonic solution

2. Hypotonic solution - if the osmotic concentration of a solution is lesser than that of cell SAP than the solution is called hypertonic solution.

3. Hypertonic solution - if the osmotic concentration of a solution is higher than that of cell SAP than this solution is known hypertonic solution.
