The unit of pressure is called as Pascal (it is SI unit)
Pressure is the perpendicular force acting over a unit area.
So, 1 Pascal = 1 N Force acting over 1 m² area.
So,
Actual unit of pressure is N/m²
But, to honor a renowned scientist we call this N/m² as Pascal.
There are other units also.
The other units of pressure includes atm(atmosphere) , N/m², etc
