All those Chemical compounds that have same chemical formula but possess different physical properties and the arrangement of atoms in the molecule are called isomers.
The compounds which perform this phenomenon are known as isomers and this property is called isomerism.
For example Butane and Iso-butane exhibit the property of isomerism.
