polity :- The word polity is derived from the word of Greek language 'polis'.
1. a society that has an organised political structure.
2. A particular form and system of government.
In other words we can say political organisation. It may be any kind of political entity like a group of people who are collectively united by a self-reflected cohesive force such as identity, who have a capacity to mobilize resources.
Thus , Polity is an organisation where rules are made and decisions are taken .
That decisions are taken for the whole community and authority which is exercised over each member of the community.
for example :- India is a democratic polity .
