SOLUTION :

ZERO OF A POLYNOMIAL :

A real number k is said to be zero of a polynomial f(x) , if f(x)  = 0 .

For e.g :

In the given polynomial p(x) = 5x + 6 , if we put x = -6/5, then

p(-6/5) = 5(-6/5) + 6  = -6+6 = 0 , i e at x = -6/5 , p(x) = 0, therefore -6/5 is a zero of a  polynomial p(x) = 5x + 6 .

★★ Every real number is a zero of the zero polynomial.

HOPE THIS ANSWER WILL HELP YOU….

mysticd: if f(k) = 0 , plz ,edit.
