thermosetting is nothing but a kind of plastic.
the plastics that cant be remoulded by heating up again or in other words cant be recycled those are called thermosetting plastics.
EXAMPLE: switch boards are made of this plastics as they may not melt up when subjected to heat that is produced by electricity

THERMOSETTING POLYMERS
These polymers are cross linked or heavily branched molecules, which on heating undergo extensive cross--linking in moulds and again become infusible. These polymers cannot be reshaped.
Example :- Bakelite , Urea-formaldehyde resins etc.
