Slope of v-t graph:

tan theta = u - v / t

But here tan theta = acceleration (a)

a = u - v / t

u - v = at

u = at + v

We have to consider the triangle in which the height would be velocity and the base of the triangle would be the time.

Definition of velocity is the shortest path between two points.

It is a vector quantity and it has both magnitude and direction. However, it is also often refereed to as the change of position.

The unit of velocity is meter per second and kilometre per hour.
