Force exerted by an object perpendicular to the surface is called thrust and the force exerted by any object per unit area is called pressure.
SI UNIT OF FORCE IS NEWTON (N) AND SI UNIT OF PRESSURE IS PASCAL (P) OR NEWTON PER SQUARE METRE i.e. N/m sq.

PRESSURE = FORCE / AREA
FORCE=100N
AREA=2.5m^2
P=100/2.5
Pressure =40 P
