Translocation is the movement of materials from leaves to other tissues throughout the plant. Plants produce carbohydrates (sugars) in their leaves by photosynthesis, but nonphotosynthetic parts of the plant also require carbohydrates and other organic and nonorganic materials.

Hey mate here is your answer!!
The transport or movement of soluble products (sugar) of photosynthesis from the leaves to other parts of plants is termed as translocation.
It occurs in the parts of vascular tissue known as phloem.
Besides these products, the phloem also transports amino acids and other substances like plant hormones.
Hope this helps you!!
