Define translocation of food in plants. How will you demonstrate that phloem is the path of tra nslocation of food

The food is manufactured in the leaves. From the mesophyll cells of the leaves, the food enters the phloem cells. They are then transported along the phloem to the different parts of the plant (stem, roots, etc.)
