Transpiration:
Transpiration is process by which the cell walls lose water in form of water vapour from a special organelle called stomata. Transpiration takes place from lower surface of leaves in dicots and both surface of leaves in case of monocots.
Transpiration helps in loss of water. This helps in cooling the plants in hot weather. The rate of transpiration depend on the environment, the humidity and the wind speed.
