1) Transpiration is the process of loss of excess water from the plants while Translocation is the transport of of prepared food from to different parts of the plant.
2) Transpiration is only conduction of water but translocation is the conduction of sap.
3) Transpiration shows positive phototropism while translocation don't.
transpiration:
it is the exhalation of water vapour through stomata.
Or in simple word Transpiration is process where plants absorb water in its root and then give off water vapour through pores in their leaves (stomata).
transportation;
it refers to the act or the means by which a molecule or ion is moved across the cell membrane or via bloodstream.
translocation:
transportation of soluble product of photosynthesis or food from leaves to other parts of plants is called translocation
