transverse waves are those waves in which the particle vibrate up and down at right angles to the direction of wave propagation .
in transverse wave the elevated part is known as crest and depressed part is trough.
at crest pressure will be maximum

manand: but crest and trough will be maximum then what will be minimum

transverse wave :- in this wave , particles move perpendicular to their mean i.e. they move in a up and down manner forming crest and trough
at crest pressure will be maximum and at trough pressure will be minimum
