Tropical evergreen forest

Forests where evergreen variety of trees are found that too in tropical regions.

It means evergreen variety can be found in dry region.

we can say that there are two types of tropical evergreen forests- tropical wet evergreen and tropical dry evergreen.

Tropical dry evergreen belongs to another category of vegetation.

Thorn Forest

A thorny forest is a dense, scrublike vegetation characteristic of dry subtropical.

Thorn forest merges in even drier regions with semi-desert scrub, and in wetter climates with tropical seasonal forest.

It is in this last respect that thorn forest differs principally from savannah woodland.

The thorn forests are found in the regions which receive less than 70 cm of rainfall.

  5. commercial trees grow.
  6. many plants and animals

Tropical Thorn forest !

  1. Rainfall less than 70cm.
  2. Found in NW parts Of The country including semi arid areas of Gujarati, rajasthani, Madhya Pardesh, chattishgarh, up, Haryana.
  3. leaves are mostly thick and small to minimize evaporation.
  4. Acacies, palms, euphorbians and cacti are The main part of species!
