Define Tropical rainforests with flora and fauna.

\sf\underline\purple{Tropical\:Rainforests\::-} Tropical forests occupy the area along the equator between the two tropics, Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. These are hot and wet forests with abundant rainfall.

Tropical rainforests provide a home to many tall trees like sequoia, rubber, ebony and mahogany. Many small plants also grow here like orchids, mosses and ferns. The tall trees form a dense canopy above the other plants.

Tropical rainforests are habitat for a large variety of animals like bats, gorillas, snakes, lizards, jaguar, sloath bear, tree frogs, etc. Birds like toucans, parrots, hornbills and sunbirds, and insects and butterflies have made tropical rainforests their home.
