Here is your answer ⤵⤵⤵

The continuously changing atmosphere refracts the light by different amount. The starlight reaching our eyes increases and decreases continuously and the star appears to be twinkling at night.

stars are very far from earth so they are considered a point sized source of light.

the atmospheric conditions of the earth are also changing therefore the path of rays of light coming from stars goes on varying slightly and the amount of starlight entering the eye flickers.

Therefore stars twinkle.

hope it helps
