There are 4 type of asexual reproduction :
Budding-it is commonly seen in yeast. a small bulb light projection call the bud is formed in the body that grows in size and finally detaches itself from the parent body .In this manner a new individual is formed.
Fragmentation-it is commonly seen in Spirogyra. when food material is available , algae grow and multiply by fragmentation (it means that the organic breaks up into two or more pieces call fragment) These pieces or fragments grow into new individuals.
Spore formation-ferns, Mosses and Many fungi reproduce through spore formation. spores are very small bodies having thick, protective walls.
Vegetative propagation-when new plant can be obtained from Roots, stems ,leaves or buds without help of any reproductive organs it is called vegetative propagation.
