In Gauss's law we often see the words " charge is uniformly distributed over a surface"
This means charge per unit area over the surface is a constant.
Suppose that the area is the area of a square of width 3cm . The area is 9 cm^2.
Let the total charge be 9C
Uniformly distributions means each cm^2 area will have 1C of charge .
An area of 1mm^2 will have 0.01 C of charge
Thus the charge is evenly distributed .
