uniform circular motion is a motion in which the body moves with constant speed but variable velocity and as we know acceleration is the rate of change of velocity therefore it is called accelerated motion

Uniform circular motion can be described as the motion of an object in a circle at a constant speed. As a circle is comprised of many points hence at every point the direction changes which can be determined by drawing tangent to that point. As the direction keep on changing it is termed as accelerated motion .
