When an object moves in a circular path with uniform SPEED, it's motion is said to be uniform circular motion.
Ex. Motion of the tips of hands of a clock.
It is called accelerated motion because at every instant, the direction of motion changes that means change in velocity at instants and change in velocity with time is denoted as acceleration. That's why it is also called accelerated motion.
