Unisexual reproduction is the type of reproduction in which a single parent is involved and no gamete are formed.
Offspring is copy of parents and it may be budding, binary fission, multiple fission, regeneration etc.
Bisexual reproduction is the type of reproduction in which two parents are involved and gamete formation takes place.
Offspring is not exact copy of parents and variations occurs
It may be internal fertilization or external fertilization.

In unisexual reproduction, only one parent is involved, so the offspring will has same genes as it's parent did.In contrast, bisexual reproduction, two parents are involved, resulting in diversity among resultant offsprings so selection of parents is carried out for improvement of characteristics of economic importance.
