define universal gas and give value and si unit

lakshay1609: R=8.314472 . it is define in term of energy per kelvin per mole
rithurithika632: per kelvin
lakshay1609: oo sorry
rithurithika632: for wht sorry
rithurithika632: but actually both can be there per kelvin and per mole

It is expressed in units  of energy (that is, the pressure-volume product) per kelvin per mole. It is equivalent to the Boltzmann constant , except that the latter is expressed in units  of energy per kelvin per particle. Denoted by the symbol R, the value  of the gas constant  is: R = 8.314472(15) J.

here is ur answer I think this may help u...

In terms of the pressure, volume, amount of substance, and temperature, the gas constant is equal to :R=(PV) /(NT) The gas constant has been found, by experiment, to have a value of approximately 8.3145 joules per kalvin per mole.
