Ureters, Bladder, Urethra.

The first structure the urine passes through once leaving the kidneys is the ureter.....The trigone is the triangular area made up of the openings from the ureters and the opening into the urethra. The urethra is the tube from the bladder to the outside of the body.

Ureter:

Ureter is a tubular structure that carries urine from kidneys to urinary bladder.Ureters are made up of smooth muscle fibers. The upper portion lies in the abdominal cavity and lower portion in the pelvic region There are two pairs of ureters,each attached to a kidney. They are about 10-13 inches in length.

Urinary Bladder:

It is a sac-like structure that stores urine. It is pear shaped.It can store upto 600 ml of urine. It is neuro muscular,meaning when the bladder is full,our brain recieves a stimuli.

Urethra:

A duct through which the urine is ejected out is the urethra. Through this,males also eject semen(sperms). It is about 20cm in male and 4cm in female.
