Answer:

A variable is the letter in a math equation. The letter can represent may different things, from the amount of money made per hour to number of dolls made and so on. Variables can be any letter, but is typically x, y, or z. The value of a variable will change with every problem/ a variable does not have any 1 value. Also, an equation can have more then one variable.

Examples:

3x+4 ( x is the variable )

7+3/2q ( q is the variable )

y=2x+10 ( y and x are the variable )
