Vegetative propagation:
It is a type of asexual reproduction in which a fragment or a part from the parent body of a plant grows into a new plant with the help of specialized cells .
This is seen in plants which cannot produce seeds or are sterile. For example in bryophyllum the leaves growing at the leaf crevices forms new plants when they are sown .
