2: vermiform appendix: small finger like reduced caecum but is a part of digestive tract in grazing animals where cellulose is digested by E. coli bacteria.

3: ear muscles : greatly reduced in humans but developed in dogs and horses helping them to move their pinna to collect sound waves from different directions.
