  • Virgin vegetation is the kind of plant that thrives naturally without the help of humans. They are also recognized as natural vegetation because they evolve naturally without any disruption from humans.
  • Many vegetation is not called virgin vegetation because its progress relies completely on human help. Crops nurtured by farmers may be deemed vegetation but they are not a part of natural vegetation. Forests, grasslands and shrubs and bushes are the basis of virgin vegetation because they prosper on their own without any interference from human beings.
  • Virgin vegetation is a plant community that does not rely on human service to grow. Thus, they are also known as natural vegetation.
  • Crops and fruits, nurtured by humans are not contemplated to be natural vegetation because they are nurtured with the help of farmers. Hence, only forests, grasslands and shrubs and bushes can be examined to be a form of natural vegetation or virgin vegetation
