Virtual image is that image which cannot be formed on a screen.It only forms when object is between focus and pole.Plane mirror always form virtual image.I forms with lateral inversion.
virtual image always form behind mirror and in front of lens.

Virtual Image- The image that can not be obtained on screen is known as virtual image.

It is one from which the light rays appear to come but dont actually come from that image like that in a mirror.
