Definition: Work done refers to the product of force applied and the distance moved by the object ,on which the force is applied,in the direction of the force applied.
Work is a scalar quantity.
It's S.I. unit is:- Nm( Newton metre) or J(joule)
For positive work to be done the force applied on the object must cause a displacenent of the object in the direction of the force applied.
Example: you push a box with 1N force and it displaces by 5m along the horizontal floor
Hence, work done: force×didplacement
=1N × 5m
=5J

Work is done when force is applied to any object and object displaces from its original position.....
Si unit of work is JOULE (J)
WORK DONE =FORCE×DISPLACEMENT
FOR POSITIVE WORK-
WORK=FScos0
WORK=FS×1
Work=FS
KINDLY MARK BRAINLIEST IF WORKED
