➡✨The light rays coming from an object situated in front of us enter the pupil of the eye and are incident on the eye lens.

➡✨As eye lens is a biconvex lens, it converges the light rays and produces a real and inverted image of the object on the retina.

➡✨Light sensitive cells,i.e., rods and cones present in retina, sense light intensity and colours of the object respectively and produce electrical signals.

➡✨The signals are transmitted to the brain by the optic nerve. Finally, the brain processes the information received through electrical signals and we are able to see that object.
